Contact ministers who can do something about this issue. They have all said they will; now let’s hold them to it. Links have been added for their contact details:

  • Margaret Hodge, chair of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee that has been investigating tax avoidance, who told Amazon, Facebook and Starbucks: “We’re not accusing you of being illegal; we are accusing you of being immoral.”
  • Michael Meacher, who has introduced a private members’ bill about tax avoidance.

Contact the offenders. The Villains page may help. It lists villains and has information and contact details for them. There are letters sent to most of them by Tame that may give ideas for what to say. Also the letter template may help.

  • The Guardian has a Tax Avoidance section
  • The Times and The Sunday Times have exposed individuals who have avoided paying tax. However, the newspapers’ website has a paywall that means you need to pay to view content.
